I stumbled on a new idea for brainstorming yesterday.
I have this new story rolling around in my head – so exciting to have new fresh ideas popping in. I love that feeling. But I’m not ready to write it yet.
Needing to jot down an especially juicy idea yesterday, I reached for scrap paper and found a stack of mini file labels leftover from a different sort of project. Aha!
I started jotting ideas on these labels – big enough to write a sentence but not much more. My idea is that, because they are sticky, I will eventually arrange and rearrange these ideas and events into some sort of order that makes sense. But for now I can be as haphazard as my brain desires!
I think I’ll use a bigger style to do my storyboard once I get to that point.
It’s the little simple ideas that fill me with delight. I’m such an office supply geek.
